LNFI is pleased to announce a new partnership with Casa Hogar de Ninos Camargo. This orphanage was established 11 years ago by Pastor Osdy Luna and his wife, Teresa. Currently, Carmago is housing nearly 30 orphans between the ages of 6 and 22 years old. The children are allowed to stay at Camargo up to the age of 18; with the exception of those with the desire to pursue a higher education at the University. Many of the children come from broken homes and have experienced trauma due to abuse or neglect. These hurting children have little to nothing at all. With your help we can change their lives forever!
In 2015, we are determined to build twice as many homes as last year for the needy families along the canal in Nopalera Colonia. So far, we have raised enough to build at least 5 homes! That means more families will be blessed with not only a brand new furnished house, but a safe and warm place they can start to call their home. This year we are also going to continue to invest even more into the lives of these families, both new and old; starting with building a stone/brick stove for each family (see picture below). Many families make their own living by raising animals, selling handmade items, etc., so we would like to come alongside of them and figure out a way to assist them in their local businesses.
