The students of LNFI visited the Kimbell Art Museum this past week. They were given a guided tour where they were shown several paintings and learned the history behind these works of art. One of the more intriguing paintings we saw was one painted by Michelangelo when he was only 12 years old. The LNFI kids were astounded that a boy, little older than them, could create something so interesting and unique. It was a wonderful field trip that was both engaging and educational.
