Our After School Mentoring Programs…

offer at-risk children and those living in poverty a safe place to learn and have fun with volunteer mentors from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  LNFI is a charity that relies on donations and volunteers to offer this free educational program to these at-risk children in the Fort Worth area.

Included in this program of structured activities are:

•   Mentoring
•   Journal writing
•   Reading time with mentors
•   Life lessons / Character lessons
•   Team-building games and activities
•   Tutoring help with homework

In addition to our exciting after school programs, the children earn LNF bucks at the center through good behavior, good grades and conduct in school, and showing leadership in the program.  They may then use their LNF bucks to purchase prizes and fun, and periodic educational field trips.
